Hello 2929

That first step is always the hardest. When you’re standing ankle deep in a cold pool, taking an hour to acclimate.

Just jump in the damn thing. You’re prolonging the cold. Otherwise you’ll spend an hour standing there, burning in the blistering sun.

Not writing is an existential sunburn. It’s standing in a cold, shallow pool. Life doesn’t have an hour.

Better to put a few mediocre words out, take the cold plunge.

Now you’re swimming.

It took until October to pen this rant, but that doesn’t matter. Today I swam.
