  • Set aside time each month for practicing minimalism and poverty – “this is the worst it can get.”
  • Monkey brain – neurotic internal dialogue. Imprison it in writing. 
  • For life success, analyze where you overreact and work on the emotion. 
  • Achievers don’t take a moment to celebrate success. They keep looking for the Future win. 
  • Momento mori – know that you will soon die, and live life knowing that it isn’t eternal. Remind yourself of this at all times. Use it to affirm life, not depress yourself. 
  • Will power is overrated, find more consistent and doable ways to Inspire yourself. 
  • Momento homo – you are but one man. It’s okay to be the weakest in the room. 
  • Don’t wait for a crisis to know how to respond to one when it hits. 
  • Success for his comes from: scratching his own itch. Not designing for a market. 
  • When approaching a project, ask yourself what it would look like if it were simple? And work towards that simplicity.
  • Success doesn’t come from a specific routine. It comes from having a routine. 
  • Routines to preserve your creativity budget for the decisions that matter. 
  • In strand shared by many top of the top performers isn’t their ability to dream big, it’s their ability to visualize the worst case scenario of an action and see the minimal risk. 
  • Is this the condition I so feared? Condition yourself to ask that and you will lose most fear to action. 
  • Doesn’t see life as a set of 5 or 10 year plans. Looks at life as a series of 2 week experiments and 6 month projects. 
  • Seek to end your projects feeling smarter. 
  • Learn to not take yourself too seriously. 
  • On training dogs or people – training for attention as a prerequisite to all other skills training. 
  • For longevity – fasts to purge pre-cancer cells. Try 3 day fasts once an X (month) 
  • Hyperbaric oxygen for longevity. 
  • Metphormin as medication for longevity. 
  • Self testing – throw many (like 6) variables, and once it goes away, start removing variables to see what worked. 
  • Micro dosing on hallucinogenics like sylociben to help with insomnia. Creating a semi-hallucinagenic mindset. 
  • Podcast format – first 33% is getting through their bio and offering vulnerability to build rapport. Second 3rd is audience questions & their pitch, finally rapid fire questions. 
  • Modern society doesn’t have enough pain to push our personal growth.
