Old laundromat signs that turned up during the search and are not Laundesigns. Kept here so nobody has to find them twice, and because some of them may yet say something about who else was making signs for coin laundries. Seen one that belongs here? Tell me.
The clothes thief, Philco-Bendix

A double-sided masonite sign, about 60 inches tall by 15 wide, per the seller. One side shows a masked thief in a striped shirt and cap, leaning on a street lamp with a towel marked HERS in his hand. The other side carries coin-op machine instructions and refers to Philco-Bendix washers. The seller dated it to the 1950s and noted wear and staining on the thief side. Sale date and price sit behind WorthPoint’s paywall.
Not a Laundesign: different drawing style, different size (the Laundesigns run about 18 by 48 inches) and different board. Inferred: probably a dealer sign supplied with Philco-Bendix equipment. Found on 19 October 2026 through a reverse image search of the HERE’S HOW poster.
